Yet another data breach has hit major retailers.

The latest affected the online photo services of the following companies:

  • CVS
  • Rite Aid
  • Costco
  • Walmart Canada

Several others were also affected.

While details aren’t clear, customer credit card information may have been compromised. All online photo services at the affected companies have been suspended while the investigation is happening.

PNI Digital Media is the third party service provider believed to have leaked all this information. The company is owned by Staples, which had its own major breach just last year.

Other information that may have been compromised includes names, address, phone numbers, email addresses and photo account passwords. There have not been any reports of compromised information linked to this breach.

What You Should Do

As always, keep an eye on your accounts for any suspicious activity. You should also be on the look out for any emails or phone calls asking you to share your personal information.
