Are you shopping for a midsize sedan? As your resources for researching new car pricing, trends, and forecasting, Aspire FCU and TrueCar (https://aspirefcu.truecar.com) are working to help new-car shoppers find a great buy on their perfect vehicle. This week we’re sharing the best prices available on midsize sedans, so we can help you find the best deal on your next new car.

This week’s deals offer potential savings ranging from 10.8 percent to a generous 14.5 percent. With discounts like these, new car buyers can find potential savings of up to $3,731 on these five midsize sedans— which already carry Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Prices (MSRP) significantly less than $30,000— bringing their market average pricing much closer to $20,000.

The first car on the list of midsize sedans is the Chrysler 200 with a TrueCar national market average of $21,804; that’s 14.6 percent — or up to $3,731 — less than the $25,535 MSRP. In second place, the TrueCar national market average of the Chevrolet Malibu is $19,701; that’s a potential savings of 13.9 percent — or up to $3,169 — less than the $22,870 MSRP of Chevrolet’s popular sedan. The third vehicle on this week’s list of great deals is the Dodge Avenger, with a national market average of $21,631; offering a potential savings of 13.4 percent — or up to $3,359 — less than the already affordable $24,990 MSRP for the Dodge midsize sedan. Rounding off the list is the Ford Fusion with a national market average price of $21,025 and a potential discount of 11.5 percent or $2,745 off the $23,770 MSRP of this comfortable midsize sedan. Finally, this week’s collection of deals also includes the Nissan Altima, carrying a national market average price of $19,035. That’s a comfortable 10.8 percent discount, or up to $2,295 off the MSRP of $21,330.

In addition to boasting terrific discounts off MSRP, these five midsize sedans also offer excellent fuel economy, with highway mileage for four out of five exceeding 31 miles per gallon; the Avenger is close behind with a 29 highway mpg.
