Welcome to Dream BIG!

Welcome to “Dream BIG!” our new blog! Check back often for financial tips and advice that can help you achieve your financial dreams. I’ll update this weekly and cover topics that can assist you throughout all of your major life events. From buying a home, getting married and having children to purchasing a car, financing a college education and retiring, Dream BIG! offers information that is useful to everyone.

For our very first blog, I’d like to tell you about a wonderful savings opportunity for the children in your family. International Credit Union Youth Week is April 17-23, and we want to celebrate! In an effort to teach our youth the importance of saving, we’re bringing back our Annual Youth Savings Challenge! Each youth member is eligible and encouraged to participate.

This contest is not limited to International Credit Union Youth Week, rather, it will extend throughout the entire month of April! This challenge begins on Friday, April 1st and lasts until Sunday, April 30th.

There are two opportunities to win, and no sign-up necessary! Members age 17 and younger who make a deposit into their Kids Count Savings Account will be automatically entered. These winners will be based on:

1.  The youth who deposits the most money into his or her Kids Count Account

2.  The youth who makes the greatest number of deposits into his/her Kids Count Account

Winners (one from each category) will be notified and have $25 deposited into his/her account*.

It’s never too early to begin teaching your child or grandchild about the importance of saving, and with this contest underway, now is a great time to start!

* $25.00 will be deposited into winners’ Kids Count account and placed on hold for 6 months to encourage long-term savings.
